1. I agree with you....

and I have a copy. I've read it at least half a dozen times.
Very scary given today's events. When I first read it, around 1986,
I thought of the Soviet Union or Nazi Germany...never would I have
thought that it would apply to the US in the 21st Century...

days and times. It sheds light on what's happening now, and in better times, it serves as a warning of what can happen when people surrender their voice.

3. excellent book

I've read it twice, once in 9th grade, the other time in 12th. Made a lot more sense to me the second time lol.
