Hey, NightTrain! Should we start up the DU fundraiser for our meeting now?

You know as well as I do that if we aren't able to meet in person soon we're both going to explode, especially since we had to cancel our March weekend meeting after finding out we were BOTH losing our jobs.

Other DUers have suggested starting a DU fundraiser so we can finally meet and, given that we both have very shaky economic situations right now, I think it's time to consider it. After all, DUers (most of them, anyway!) love romance, especially ones that start right here on good 'ol DU! Besides, a lot of them might donate just to shut us both the hell up, lol! :evilgrin:

BTW, GREAT show tonight, hon, maybe one of these Saturdays I'll actually be able to sit in the studio with you! :loveya: :loveya: :loveya:

Not sure if we'd need plane tickets; I'm in Ohio and he's in Connecticut. We'd planned to meet the weekend of March 19 in PA, halfway between our states but fate in the form of double job losses intervened, SIGH! :( :grr: :mad:

Christ, what a busy-ass night at WHUS! Not only do I have a trainee in the studio with me this week, but the goddamned phone has been ringing off the hook. Factor in that most of the songs I play are three minutes or shorter, and I'm a busy little bee tonight.

I don't know what you drive, but mapquest says 8.5 hours, 556 miles. Assuming you get 25 MPG, that's about 45 total gallons roundtrip... even if you're assuming you have to pay $2/gal, that's $90 for gas. I betcha you'd get that in a day from DU! :bounce:
