What should I cook for dinner tonight?
I've got to go to the grocery store and buy food. I'm stuck on what to make for dinner.

I have no food restrictions so suggest!

1. It's Sunday...make something where all the ingredients...
...can be put in one huge pot (chili, spaghetti sauce, soup) that can simmer all afternoon...set it low, and forget it. Get some good fresh bread, and let everybody help themselves. Enjoy the day!

11. Chili sounds good
That's what I'm making tonight. Cheap, easy to make and it makes good leftovers for the rest of the week.

3. We are having country style ribs cooked out on the pit over mesquite.
It's Boston Butt chops(bone in) they had on sale for .87 a lb. I will microwave baked potatoes and open a can of green beans.

9. That's what I was going to suggest
Beer can chicken. We're having sirloin tips, marinated and seared over a fire. Boiled baby potatoes and beets on the side.

5. I am making Chicken and Wild Rice
casserole. New recipe from my community group's new cookbook. Hope it turns out ok. Plenty of leftovers to keep me from cooking for a couple of days this week. Happy Sunday dinner.

6. Well, you could always try something new...
Edited on Sun Apr-25-04 11:33 AM by HypnoToad
Like gerbils, hamsters, skunks, smurfs, peeps, toads (no relation), or earwigs... Do you still have no restrictions?

On the other hand, why eat something bizarre that tastes like chicken when the real thing is tasier? :9

Of course, a vegetarian diet costs less... :D

10. Awesome idea! Best of all, we give give the concoction a name...
Here's what I had in mind:

"Roadkill Delight"

"Footlong plumper hot dogs"

"Roadkill Surprise"

"Fricassee of Roadkill"

or

"Tofu"

8. Well, if I were going to cook tonight...
I'd make baked Chicken either for a big caesar salad or with garden rotini pasta and alfredo sauce. And probably a caesar on the side. Because I'm really on a caesar salad kick right now. Well, Enjoy whatever you decide on. :)

12. Well, I like organic peanut butter on organic bread...
...which is quick to 'make.' You can go that route, or make steamed veggies and add crushed red pepper and butter (or vegan substitute for the butter).
