2. Alex Steponavich is a steal
He is that throw back, tough, nasty overachiever who gives it 100% every down. So far I like every pick Arizona's made.

6. You mean Mr.Penalty Flag?
Edited on Sun Apr-25-04 10:38 AM by mouse7
Every time this guy got a little stressed and he didn't overwhelm the guy he was assigned to, flags went flying. This was a bad pick.

You really need to stop drinking the Cardinal Kool-Aid.

8. That can easily be cured
Like Rasheed Wallace in Detroit and Ron Artest in Indiana. This is a guy who gave it his all on every play, very tough and a throwback type of player. Good pick by Arizona.

:eyes:

By the way I am not a Cardinals fan. I understand what you mean, higher then a late 1st day pick would've been to high. But in my opinion under the right kind of coaching (Dennis Green) he has the right kind of passion for the game and the tools to develop into a starting center. Just watch is all I am saying, if anyone was psychic Tom Brady would've been a 1st round pick.

11. Then there's no excuse.
Cardinals are consistantly the worst franchise in the NFL for decades. They have ruined more good players than any other team in the history of football. The owner is completely worthless. The only time Cardinal players make an impact on the NFL is when they are "former Cardinals." I don't care who the coach is. It can't make up for the disease in the owner box.

Yesterday, you claimed a bad team that made no moves to help themselves had the best draft day. You ignored the great moves made by the Lions, Chargers and Patriots. The Patriots got great results from their whole draft last year.

I don't know where you're coming from, but it isn't from any place factual.

12. I said Detroit had the best(I didn't ignore the Lions, search my posts)

I just said I liked every pick Arizona has made thus far whether they made trades or whatever. Chargers got an extra QB, they got Drew Brees who had a bang up year 2 years ago and an average year last year. But he has the tools to be successfull and wouldn't throw him out after an average season, if we did that to all QBs then the likes of John Elway, Terry Bradshaw, etc would've never made it. You don't keep drafting QBs till you strike gold with an instant success like Peyton Manning. I know alot about the Cardinals organization but they actually got a top coach and recently they have started resigning their young players such as Marcell Shipp. Plus a coach like him has players wanting to play for Arizona such as Bertrand Berry who had 12 sacks last year and was a force on Denver's defense and Shaun King doesn't make a bad backup. But hey they released David Barrett and so far haven't resigned Adrian Wilson, so who knows. But players like Corey Chavous, Simeon Rice, Garrison Hearst, Plummer, etc has had success on other teams, Im sure Thomas Jones will be the next. But I tend to trust that a coach with a .610 career winning percentage knows what he is doing. What has I said that wasn't factual? Adam Steponavich is one of those throw back players, one of those from 50 years ago that played on both sides with cheap helmets.

But hey!"

You didn't ignore Detroit, but you claimed Arizona doing nothing was as good as Detroit making great moves, and was better than San Diego picking up an extra 1st and New England with 2 1st rounders. That makes no sense. Especially with the history the Cardianls have of failure and ruining good players. You said you don't know anything about the Cardinals organization. Well, maybe learn that sort of thing before making pronouncements.

19. Take that bullshit quote cutting out of here
Here's what I said...

"Yesterday, you claimed a bad team that made no moves to help themselves had the best draft day. You ignored the great moves made by the Lions, Chargers and Patriots. The Patriots got great results from their whole draft last year."

Don't cut my quotes and try to take them out of context. I'm too practiced watching reThugs do that crap to good Dems. Finding it when someone is doing it to me is cake after that.

I know that but you still said that I ignored the great moves made by the Lions. Is that not correct? How is that out of context? I said Detroit made the best moves but why did you include the Lions? Explain that to me. I didn't take it out of context, I only took what you said to make a point. I didn't ignore the great moves by the Lions.

25. I know!!!
But you still said I ignored the great moves Detroit made WHEN I DIDN'T. I know you said Chargers and Patriots, plus I think Cedric Cobbs was a great late round pick made by the Patriots. There is nothing I quoted from you to make you look worse then what you said as a whole, It would be the same if I quoted the entire sentance and bolded the Lions part. I was making a point that I didn't ignore the great moves made by Detroit even though you said I did.

I like Suzy Colber, but she's can only do so much. Seems like ESPN people want the coverage to be about them, not the players being drafted.
