1. Yes
It's part of something I learned a year ago to never forgive people for things that are greatly wrong.

2. Yes. Revenge is a dish that is best served cold.
When Kerry gets in in 05' I want to see the Neo-Cons done away with.

4. I hold them, but don't carry them
I figured out if I'm thinking about getting someone back all the time, it eats me up somewhat. So I put them in my planner and forget about them... like the county clerk that gave me such crap for trying to help people register to vote, I just put a LTTE reminder in the planner for the week before she's up for re-election.

5. Yes.....oh man yes....I carry heavy grudges.....
I'm fortunately fairly good at hiding it to the people/person in question, but in the back of my mind I seethe at anything that person may have done wrong to me.

6. I wish I didn't but I do. I think I just make myself miserable with it
but it is hard to change your nature.

7. "hold" means more or less than 20 years?, more or less than 10 years?
And Grudge means what level of hate beyond not speaking?

Or is it just not Speaking.

Or are we talking some wimpy response like not being pleasant?

10. Like all vaguely worded polls
this one leaves it to the respondant to define all the terms.

9. You learn as you get older how to carry a grudge but put it on hold
rather like what Robb (who apparently isn't really a dingbat) says. The key is not to let it damage you. If somebody does you wrong, or does wrong generally, you might one day be able to hit back, prove them wrong, get them turned out of office, or whatever. However, seething and staying angry about it just hurts you. Focus on learning how to file it away, not to forget, but not to ruminate upon constantly either.

To answer your question, I never forgive and never ever forget. But I don't let myself kill myself about it either.

12. I prefer gloating
I'm not satisfied with just any revenge. I have to wait for the precise moment and opportunity to roll around. I don't think about it much until it does. I just tuck the grievance in the back of my mind and often enough, circumstances shape up and then.....POUNCE!

I also like to gloat. I have myself a regular gloatfest when those special revenge moments come around.

15. Depends on the person.
If someone, say, gets others killed for profit, yes. If someone calls me a pig, no, they're just ignorant.
