This is Bob Edwards' last week on Morning Edition.
Waking up with Bob Edwards is the longest relationship of my life.

I'm really going to miss his voice in the morning. :(

Very sad for us...I hope he's happy with his new assignment and I hope his replacements will be reasonably decent. He will be a hard act to follow.

he was off for a year after Red Barber died, and the program (though still good) was just not the same.
