1. I count "26"
Could a Sox fan check that number for me?

5. They sell a T-shirt outside of Fenway...
It says:
"You can take your 26 rings and shove 'em up your ass".

My sentiments exactly.

You guys are a perfect example of why NY is the most hated city in America.

7. Even after 9/11?
Hated by you, maybe.

I'm a rabid Yankees fan, and I love beating the Red Sox but I don't hate Sox fans and I happen to love the city of Boston.

It's my favorite place after NY.

Relax....it's just a game. Have some fun and chill out.

9. I know it's irrational
I have to reach deep for 9/11 sympathy - that's how much a lifetime of being taunted by you guys has left me mentally ill!

Imagine if people somewhere else were to constantly come to your town and tell how much it sucks, what a loser you are for being from there, how you have a stupid accent, and how much better their town is.

This is what we are made to deal with our whole lives. Then I made the mistake of going to a college that took in a bunch of New Yorkers.

I shit you not - it's really like that. It's made me a little defensive, as you can see.

Peace.

10. I don't mind BoSox fans because they're passionate and very

knowledgeable. I've had excellent camaraderie with them at Yankee Stadium - even during the infamous *emptying of the benches into the stands* game on my birthday (Sept 13 - too many years ago) when Jim Rice had to go up into the 3rd base stands to retrieve his "lucky gamer" hat!

However, Boston as a city sucks. The coldest people I've ever met - anywhere (and that includes London, home of the rudest people on Earth). Boston - the small town that never grew into a major city.

How can anyone like Boston better than San Francisco?

8. They're right. When you control the history of baseball and the WS
you can do whatever you want with your WS rings.

Of course, first you have to *have* them before you can do anything with them!

BTW - rings are easier to shove up one's ass than goose eggs...
