3. Detroit
People here live and die with our teams.

Right now, the Wings, the Pistons and the Tigers are all winning. Life is good.

11. I'd agree with that.
New York is too blase. Buffalo is a one-sport town. Cincinati is in second place. San Francisco is far more cosmopolitan. Philly likes cheesesteaks more than sports. Baltimore gentrified their sport. Seattle (and LA) does it for business. Detroit doesn't demand excellence and settles for worse-than-mediocre crap year after year - and gets taken by the owners. But Chicago supports ALL their teams ... rabidly ... and they're good.

6. Okay, I will play homer, Atlanta...
Maybe not the most vocal pro fans in the country, but that wasn't the question. Atlanta has it all, well the area does. Participatory sports are huge here. From tennis, to golf, to motor sports, to roller blading events, even rowing. Just this weekend, a huge bicycle race (Tour de Georgia) ended, with Lance Armstrong in the lead, last time I heard. The fans here are also great, just not necessarily of Pro Sports. Georgia Tech, and Georgia are beloved here with fans o' plenty. The hugest events are held here, the Olympics, Super Bowls, College Bowl games (possibly becoming a BCS game), The Masters (well two hours east), Women's College Final Four Basketball, Men's is on the way, SEC football Championship game, All Star games (Basketball, Baseball, and Hockey (upcoming season, if there is one). The Braves, are the Braves, with like 13 consecutive division titles (yea, I know they come up a bit short on championships). The Falcons have one of the top stars in the NFL. The Thrashers, have two outstanding up and coming stars in the NHL. The Hawks have um um um, okay maybe we should leave them out. Well they do have new owners so maybe they will do something...Kevin.

The Denver Broncos have sold out for atleast 40 consecutive seasons. Also Carmelo and the Nuggets, also the Avalanch are loved there.

10. Second vote for Denver
The entire city goes completely insane over their sports teams, especially the Broncos. It's very disturbing.
