Miserable Mariner Fans - Commiserate here |

This season has been a disaster. Terrible pitching, terrible defense, powerless slap-hitting and absolutely no Mojo. They can't catch a break and even worse, they can't create any of their own. This team looks like it could win 70 games. It's beginning to look like the good old days of sub-.500 M's teams.

but I sympathize with you. My team has been the laughing stock of the majors for some 4 years now. I'm glad that we actually have young talent now, though I am sure you guys will turn it around. Just Jamie Moyer out there every night for a while. Everybody in the West is pretty well matched.

i was a realist about the mets this year, but i was REALLY expecting a better start from KC...they simply do not have MLB-caliber pitching...you'd expect a team scoring 6,7,8 runs a night can stay competitive, but they're giving up 11,12, and 13 runs...
on another note, I'd like to see MLB raise the mound and actually open up the strike zone...damn them and their offence-happy philosophies
