The only watchable half-hour comedy on television -- and the best new show of the year.

Anyone heard?

1. I sure as hell hope so
That's the damn funniest show ever. It's funnier than Seinfeld.

The producers plan to carry on somewhere even if Fox cancels it. I'll post a link in a minute if I can find it.

2. here's the article that said that it will likely continue no matter what
*snip*

Hurwitz says that, no matter what Fox decides about the show's future, he feels confident Howard's Imagine Entertainment will want to continue the show in some venue.

3. Not yet...

You need to have a brain to appreciate it.

Ironic humor is lost on most of America.

Same thing with "Action" a few years ago (one of the few TV shows
that literally had me ROTFLMAO), and that one didn't even get
through one entire season. Action had the double strike of being
a Hollywood insider comedy as well as smartly written.

4. I loved Action
Comedy Central played it occasionally in the middle of the night last year.

5. I wish i had seen this show from the start.
I keep missing it, or Fox changes the time it's on. From what little i've seen it's a great show. The problem is all great shows get canceled. America is not that hip.

7. yeah that was good
Wasn't that the one with Jay Moher (or however you spell it)? Why are the best comedies on the network we love to hate?

8. Action

I have about 4 episodes Tivo'd... and I've emailed the shows
producers asking if they will ever release all of the episodes
(including the 13th unaired episode - which I believe was on
Comedy Central) on DVD. No reply yet.

Comedy Central wouldn't even list the times that the repeats would
be on... they had one "Action fest Saturday" and I got to Tivo
a number of episodes from that.

I *hate* Fox. But they have some of the best PI comedies on TV,
so I have to watch those (Simpsons, Malcolm, Arrested).

I wish CBS or someone would have the smarts to put on some of that
rather than the reality drek they seem to prefer. All part of the
"dumbing down of America". Pretty soon, it will be Springer 24 x 7.

6. I love Arrested Development!
Sunday night is the only time I watch primetime TV. The Simpsons, Malcolm and Arrested Development. I'm never satisfied with just a half-hour of AD, though. The story lines are so dense that they could fill an hour.
