...playing as they do what you might call Irish classical music, whereas the Dubliners, etc., play Irish popular music.
When did the Irish Rovers, or The Clancy Bros. last cover a tune by Turlogh O Carolan, for example.
A better competitor for the Chieftains would be, say, the Boys of the Lough....
