they will fade somewhat with age.
microdermabrasion is done if you want to get rid of them now.
i'm sure there are creams that work a little too.

5. I have trauma scars from..
an accident. They are small and not noticeable unless you stare up close, but they have been a source of frustration for me, probably in large part due to the fact that I got them when I was a teenager.

Anyhow, I know quite a bit more than I should abut treating scars now. The answer to your question depends entirely on what type of scars you have, though there are a few treatments that work universally. The key is to find a doctor who has experience treating scars, and is versed in using different methods.

My caveat to you would be to try not to spend too much time worrying about it. It can become an obsession.
