1. It was fun
and I live close by, so it wasn't an expense for me to go. I think I'm going to take up marching for a hobby.

The advantages:

1. You get to meet lots of nice people!
2. You support social justice!
3. It doesn't cost anything (if you live in D.C. area anyway).
4. You get plenty of exercise.
5. Naproxen.
6. Myoflex.

2. Glad to do my small part.
Every little bit helps. Being there in spirit helps too. :)

3. I second that
I couldn't be in DC...but I was there in spirit. Thank you to all you pro-choice women and men for sending the message that choice must be preserved.

4. It was an amazing day!
I couldn't believe how many were there. Over one million standing up against * war on women. It was a privilege to be apart of it :)

5. We do not all share the pro-choicers point of view
Many of us, particularly Catholic Democrats, view abortion as an abomination and the ultimate form of violence towards the weakest of human beings. My wish is that, when considering abortion, we think less about ourselves, and more about the innocent human life involved

6. Well, if you truly believe in the sanctity of life...........
show up at an anti-war rally next time. Iraqi lives are sacred too, even if they have brown skin and are non-Christians. That seems to be the attitude of the freepers: save the unborn white Christian babies, but go ahead and slaughter alla them camel jockeys. :grr:

7. I am a PRO-CHOICE Catholic
so don't go including those of us that are Catholic and Pro-Choice with you. You do not speak for us.

When the Church speaks as strongly about the death penalty and social justice as it does abortion I will take the Church seriously. Until then its very plainly obvious that the RW nuts in the Church are playing politics. Its very simple.

How do YOU feel about the death penalty??? How do YOU feel about social justice??? Huh? Huh?

8. That's really funny...
because every Catholic I've ever met (and I was involved romantically with one for a decade mind you) has been pro-choice. Every last one of them has wanted the Church to butt the hell out of people's sex lives.

Frankly I can't tell you what I really think about you and your "story"...because it violates the DU rules.

10. Most Catholics keep their religion to themselves
and understand the separation of Church and state. Massachusetts is overwhelmingly Catholic and you can't get elected dogcatcher here if you aren't pro-choice. Blows your broad brushing of Catholics like myself out of the water.

11. My wish is that you would focus on quality of life and social justice
for children who are already born. And next time you are at a pro-life rally, could you ask your group not to spend money threatening doctors who perform a LEGAL procedure.
