The King of the Twangy Guitar was born April 26, 1938 in Corning, NY, and grew up in Arizona. His late '50s/early '60s instrumental hits included "Movin' and Groovin'," "Rebel Rouser," "Cannonball," "Yep," "40 Miles of Bad Road," "The Lonely One," "Because They're Young," "Peter Gunn," and "Dance With The Guitar Man." Eddy also appeared on the Art of Noise's 1986 remake of "Peter Gunn."
