1. Haven't preordered, but can't wait for LOTR!

I want all three!! I've seen the first two many times now on cable; still haven't seen ROTK (I don't get out to a theater very often.)

3. Star Wars fans who continue to support Lucas....

...I swear it's like cinematic battered spouse syndrome. The guy continually insists on figuratively sh*tting all over his own legacy and the fans of the trilogy who made him a success in the first place, yet they continue to support the dreck he puts out.

I actually know fans who insist that their form of protest for the crappiness of the first two "prequels" will be to not see the third one on opening day and wait until a few days later. Boy that'll show him!

I've managed to restrict myself to books so far -- I've passed most of my DVDs (generally bought secondhand) on to the local library's collection, or to my parents and friends.
