Of course, the Big Unit is pitching, which partially explains it. But how embarrassing for the Cubs! The were 10 and 6 while the D-backs were 6 and 10.

So far this year it seems to be all about the pitching. Pitcher has a bad day, Cubs lose big. Remember Maddux sucking wind on the home opener?

I just phoned in the update to my partner: "It was supposed to be a pitchers' duel...but Zambrano shot himself in the foot."

Ah well. He's done very well in most of his games so far this year, he'll get over it.

Pat and Ron have spent the past 3 innings talking about which celebrity holds the record for the most marriages. This is very sad.
