This is the newest addition to the household, the purr monster Tyger.

1. A thin, sensitive, intelligent face. College professor? Sculptor?

Certain has enough to say and I don't understand a word of it.

3. Such a handsome kitty!
I pictured him very similarly when you posted the "monster" thread, but he's even better looking. I love the classic tabby patterning!

And don't worry-he'll be less attention crazed once he has fully settled in. :-)

5. Is it just me? Is it the picture?

Maybe its just me...

10. There's more cat off-screen
It is a relatively skinny cat at least at the moment. I'm assuming it will fatten up. It was a stray/abandonned and it's just been fixed.

9. Cats don't purr
They're drilling. They don't care what they drill for (gold, mice, oil). They just love to drill. They'll go behind the sofa, put the safety goggles on, and away they go.

11. Mine drills in plain sight
There's a scratching post three inches away, but he insists upon clawing a certain spot on the rug. I'm going to find a carpet sample and put it down so he can destroy it instead.

14. Yesterday went better
They've stopped hissing at each other. He's now sleeping on the bottom of the bed instead of on my face. He's less frantic about needing to be held, petted, scratched, massaged and he's stopped staring at the birds.

I think the other cat's teaching him bad habits.
