I just got this from Fark.com.
If you go to the popular search engine Google and type in the word "waffles", then press the "I'm feeling lucky" button, it takes you to the John Kerry website.
What is that about? Is this some programmer at Google being funny?

google ranks sites based on how many external sites link to a particular page. so if a lot of people link to john kerry's website and put "waffles" as the link text, after a while google ranks john kerry's site as the most relevent for the term "waffles"
