If an Anti-War Rally Were Held in Washington ...
... How many would attend? While watching (and cheering) last Sunday's Women's Rights march in Washington, I wondered how a similar rally for peace would compare. Do we need a military draft to fully mobilize support for peace?

I would go only for a determined march upon the White House, French-style...

4. Oct 26, 2002, there was a march over 15 solid city blocks long
all lanes plus sidewalks. If you can estimate how many people fill up an area one block long by about 150 wide, and x that by 15, you have the minimum.

And about 20+ DUers, and ~that~ was 1.5 yrs ago.

6. We could get even a bigger crew...
if there were a protest against any or all of this administration's policies.

And the best time would be during the republican convention or right before the election
