Why are we not allowed sex threads?

If you can show the charred body of some poor chap being dragged through Faluja, why can't we discuss racy things?

It's the same on the TV & in movies. You can see as much violence as you want (Gladiator is a perfect example, rated: 15 ), but not two consenting adults getting it on until your 18, even though you can legally get it on at 16 - if you see what I mean.

they became disgusting and demeaning and the Admins had to say ENOUGH. Lack of maturity on the part of very few posters killed the sex threads.

Seriously, it got out of hand and some people proved they weren't capable of discussing sexuality in a mature fashion. We were also getting out of the realm of discussing sexuality issues and into discussing way too much information about people's personal sexual practices. The admins basically had to send us all to our rooms.

You still see some discussion slip under the radar but a lot of it gets caught and locked. And lord knows there's still a ton of flirting...which is generally perfectly acceptable. Thank goodness. :)
