A neighbor's cat wants to adopt us.
We think it is the neighbor's cat, anyway. He's always on our front porch or lazing around on our patio. Whenever he sees us through the window, he comes over and meows for us to let him in. It drives our indoor cat crazy. They bat at each other through the glass. He seems to be well fed and taken care of. There's no ID tag or collar on him, though. He's an adorable gray tabby. I've never had a cat so persistent about hanging around like he does. I hope he hasn't been abandoned :( That happens around here a lot.

1. It could just be a 'cruiser'
I have 6 cats. One of them I only see every day or two. She appeared at my door 9 years ago, we got her fixed and lookin'healthy...but she prefers to hang out in neighbor's yards. She HATES all other cats - but loves dogs. She is a misfit, but sweet and special
Ask around your neighborhood. He could just really prefer your porch over the one at his house.

uh, you don't live in Los Altos do you?

I'll definitely ask around, because if he no longer belongs to anyone (he's definitely not feral), then I'd like to at least get him into a vet and get him checked out, and start leaving food for him.

5. Smart move so that if he hasn't been cared for he doesn't infect your
animals

3. The neighbors across
the street have a cat that is too friendly for her own good, she comes into everyone's house on the block. Hopefully, she won't go into a cat haters house.

7. I'll be there between June 30th and August 5th
off and on. The kids are going to camp in NM, I spend time at the cabin (Pagosa Springs), and I have to fly back to Silicon Valley to work periodically.

Let's hit Cervantes this summer! Sadies would be great too, but I really like Frontier in certain moods....El Patio just isn't the same, but....Blakes will do just fine (lived off the double GChBurger for 3 or so years).

I am salivating like one of Pavlov's hounds!
