1. Sorry to hear that....

In my case I never could have met 3 of my grandparents. Only my father's mother was still alive when I was born and she died when I was 6, less than a year after my father. I still have distant memories of staying overnight at her apartment a couple of times, but little in the way of specifics.

Do you know, based on anecdotes, what kind of person she was? Do you regret not ever meeting her?

Seems just a little odd to me that she was important enough to be named Godmother, and yet never saw you.
