Poll question: "Good on them" or "Good for them," which is correct?
I've never heard or read "good on them" until I started visiting DU. Is it a regional thing, a generational thing or a flat out misuse?

1. "Good on them" is British, "Good for them" is American.
So it's "regional", in a sense.

I wasn't talking about jerseys on a sports team, lets say, which may look "good on them," but rather as a compliment for someone's actions: "They saved a kid from drowning. Good on them."
