Bush/Cheney Deny Any Problems (Cthulhu NOT on Ticket)

CRAWFORD, TX - A somewhat subdued President Bush, followed by the Vice President Dick Cheney and his personal physician Herbert West, held an informal press conference last Tuesday, April 6th, to put to rest rumors that Cheney would be stepping down from his position.

"I have not been looking for any other running mates than my leader, er, good friend Richard Cheney, Dark Lord Sith of Haliburton," Bush stated as Mr. Cheney pulled on his left ear, to help him find the microphone we assume.

With that announcement various Free Masons and Skull and Bones fraternity members breathed a sigh of relief, though others still questioned the President further. Bush denied ever having approached the dread Cthulhu or Martin Sheen as potential running mates. He also stated that the help wanted add for the VP slot at his campaign web site was not of his doing.
