He is part of the reason that I am absolutely convinced that the whole thing is fixed. I think that they'll keep him around until the final 3 or so, get people all pissed off as more talented ones fall away, keep 'em talking and watching, then ax him before they have to depend on him to bring in money....

They said on the local radio here that he offered to leave instead of Jennifer last week. Anybody else hear that?

I think people that didn't vote for the top three last time did so because they assumed those contestants were safe. I doubt that will happen again.

He can't do anything more than male jazz standards right now, but since he's only 16, I'm willing to give him the benfit of the doubt and say that if he got serious about singing, he could be one hell of a great singer.

Personally, I don't think there's a lot of talent in most of the rest of the competetion, although George Huff(I think it's Huff) is pretty good.
