Is it possible to not be kicked off FR if they know you're a liberal...

...and you've broken no rules???

Back in the day, we used to have a person here, "Repub", who was openly a republican. He/she mostly hung out at the lounge. I wonder what ever happened to him/her...

Anyway, since we've actually had at least a couple or few republicans on this site without any flaming being exchanged, and they stayed here and followed the rules, do you think the same would hold true for Democrats at Der FreiRepublikkk??? Will RimJob kick you off the site just for the fact that you're a liberal, without yet engaging in any breaking of their rules???

I highly doubt it. I think we have a LOT more tolerance for the other side on our site, as long as their intentions are honest and good, and not just for trolling.

2. You won't get kicked off if your name is "Zell Miller".

Oh, sorry, that doesn't really fit with your qualification that you be a liberal. }(

I've been here as basically a conservative on most issues (and been open about that) and have made it up to around 500 posts. Mostly I don't get too involved in political discussions. As I said in the beginning... it's yall's board, and I respect that. Plus I am not conservative on every issue. Actually I try not to label myself at all, whether it be 'conservative' or otherwise, I just go with what I feel. It just so happens that alot of the positions i take fall under what most people consider conservative, but that's not my doing. Chris Rock did a great piece in his newest comedy routine about making up your mind before you have taken the time to understand an issue and instead just following your party or your particular political niche. I don't believe in following any party mindlessly regardless of which one, they both have their faults. I tend get myself in trouble with both liberals and conservatives... it's funny how just because you don't agree with each and every one of somebody elses's views, they will deem you the enemy... even if you agree with them on other issues. I try to focus on similarities when debating with people... I am politically a 180 degree opposite to most DUers, yet oftentimes we find common ground.

I mostly just keep a low pro, but I am happy to debate on any issue if invited. As for FR, I don't really like the setup of their board much, so I don't even think I have an acount anymore, but I don't think they kick people off for being a liberal, they do kick off obvious trolls or disrespectful posters, but what board wouldn't?

Heyo

4. I'm conservative and libertarian on a lot of fiscal issues...

I'm a full believer in the free-market economy, I think business and government should be completely seperated (no corporate welfare), and I have a big aversion to communism. But I'm still very liberal on social and foreign policy issues.

I have gotten into my share of little debates on these forums in the past too...

6. I've been wondering the same thing.
I like arguing with warmongers. But it usually works them up into a sort of frenzy.

LIBERAL: Well, you make a valid point in that I do masturbate to pictures, just not of Al Franken. By the way, have I mentioned that your debating style is very good and that I have difficulty keeping up with your obviously superior intellect?
