HEyHEY hiding out

I was pulling out of the side parking lot here at work, I didn't have my belt on yet, and a cop came down the other way. He looked right at me, started to pull a U-Turn. So I quickly pulled my car over in front of work and got out. And went back inside.

I got out a garbage can and started cleaning out my car so if he hassled me for the belt I could say, "Hey I was just moving the car to the front of the building to clean it out, it''s only 30 feet."

He's still outside about 100 feet away looking in his mirror, waiting for me. Some may be aware the cops are out to get me in this town as a result of an article I did.

What should I do?

Wait it out?
Take Pictures?
Go talk to him?

that pissed the cops off so bad? Just hang around for awhile, the neanderthal macho-wannabe who's obviously getting off on a power trip will eventually get bored and tired of waiting, or another call will come in and he'll have to leave.
