One year and one month later, my post count finally goes static (1000+). I was one of those anti-war newbies from March 2003 who found DU through BartCop (and this place was hotter than Georgia asphalt!). My first post was to a "I'm hitting xxxx posts" thread so why not do the 1,000 thing the same way?

On this auspicious occasion, I want to offer amends to anyone who I may have offended in GDPrimary (I wasn't as bad as some of you :P ) while also extending my gratitude to those "old-timer DUers" who first sent me :hi: emoticons when I arrived -- you were right, I did like it here.
