1. Why the beaver

2. I went to school at Bemidji State University in Bemidji, Minnesota

Our mascot was Bucky the Beaver, seen here to your left. Bucky is a strong and brave soul!

We even have a song that is commonly sung at football/hockey games. It goes like this:

"I'm a beaver, you're a beaver, we are beavers all. And when we get together, we do the beaver crawl."

And then we all do the beaver imitation with our teeth.

So yeah, it's not often people can say they are a beaver and not mean it in a sick way. It's so fun to talk about it and then play all innocent!
