Ry Cooder/Manual Galban--any fans? |
|
I've been listening to "Mambo Sinuendo" the last couple of days. What an incredible disc! Definitely worth a listen. Hard to describe, really. Sort of laid back, surf guitar with a latin feel.

Galban is pretty unique. Like I sai eqarlier, it's hard to describe his playing. Sort of late 50's sounjding, mixed with surf and latin. But most of the album is on the mellow side. It'll put you in a good mood. A n excellent Friday evening, kicking back with a couple beers kind of disc. Hey, I'm starting to get thirsty!
