In my "suspect email" inbox this morning, I rec'd a message from this MDindigogirl.

It was sent to a dontamend.com mailing list -- the from address that appeared on the email this person got from dontamend.com

The subject was "REMOVE ME."

The message reads "remove me from all mailings from dontamend.com"

Do you see where this is going?

As of this post, I have fifty-two replies to mdindigogirl's email in my "suspect email" and they just keep coming.

One person in this never-ending chain wrote,

"Well, I see some conservative/Republican a$$hole has figured out a way to annoy the Shit out of anyone associated with the Dontamend site.

I can't believe I'm the only DUer who has received over 100 emails because of this today.

but my profile on my system at work got messed up, and I had no cookie.

I'm on the list, and as of now, I've had approximately 150 e-mails in my box since this morning.

FSC, did you get an email called "An Apology?" Here, from http://www.dontamend.com/

"Last night our email list was apparently hacked by some person(s) unknown to us. Our list has NEVER been open to posting by recipients, but the hacker apparently tried to destroy our work by allowing spamming. We sincerely regret that you have been on the receiving end of this.

We ask that you please do not unsubscribe (although we will respect all requests to do so). I am so tempted to write to this [e-mail] -- that person sent the first email. I hope dontamend.com can trace it back and take some kind of action against the whiney little hacker babies.

8. Yep, I did.

I just patiently deleted everything until they got the problem solved. What a bunch of whiners. It was obvious the site was hacked or had a virus, and they were trying to devise a solution. Some people are too impatient.
