Anyone else at DU thinking of going to what could be a historical convention with one of the most massive counter conventions going on at the same time?

I've already got my hotel room book in downtown Manhatten (and they still have rooms left). Who else is thinking of attending.

The RNC Convention is August 30th-Sept 2nd, but there will be many activities going on the 28-29

Regarding the "team" of Mr. and Mrs. Belle. I would like to and he would too and if common politics can create positive bedfellows by the end of the Summer, we would love to. Mr. Belle actually designed his Summer work schedule with going to this in mind last month. It may end up though that one goes and one stays home. I don't know if he'd be into going with DU group or not (he's a paid member, but less active), but I definately would be.
