For anyone interested: Update on my mom...

She's still in the hospital. Yesterday she said she was having trouble breathing. Today she's feeling better but says she's still sore (well, duh...they cut your stomach!)

Today will be the first day we've been able to go see her (damn 3rd shift schedule) so I'm looking forward to it.

"Having trouble breathing" is an alarm to me: On Wednesday night, my grandma called and said she was calling 911 because my grandpa was having trouble breathing. Look what happened.

In my mom's case it was an effect of the surgery. She's better now.

I missed the original news. Will, I am so sorry your mother had to have surgery but I am glad she seems better and as a mom I can tell you she will feel even better seeing you. I will send healing thoughts and think of you.
