In the May 7th issue of Entertainment Weekly, hitting newsstands today, readers get a first look at Christian Bale wearing the suit for Batman Begins.

Still largely in shadow, the suit is quite toned down from Batman’s latest film outings, as the accompanying article saying that director Christopher Nolan modeled the suit on Frank Miller and David Mazzuchelli’s Batman: Year One rather than any previous version.

It's a little known sci-fi dystopia that came out about a year or so ago on DVD. It's one of my favorite films of the last few years.

19. Equilibrium was great, and it absolutely sold Bale as Batman

I look forward to this like no movie of the last 10 years. I just hate to say this (since I don't want to face crushing disappointment), but I actually think they got it right this time. I've been thrilled with everything I've heard or seen from this movie so far.
