Question for the Sooner fans ...

The missus and I are thinking of doing something daring in September and traveling East with a charter group from UO (not OU) to support our Ducks as they get crushed play Oklahoma.

If we go, obviously we have to proudly sport our Duck colors ... so how do the Big Red fans treat opposition fans? I really want to go to see some quality college football ... not get beer dumped on me or in a fight with some drunken okie.

1. They are nice

Especially to a non-conferance rival. Oklahoma State fans might have problems, but they are just as rude. Just smile, and of course if you do win, don't rub it in.

Also the students sit in their own section and that's where it gets really wild.

Wish I could get tickets. It's really hard here in Oklahoma unless you want to pay out the nose.

I just had to make an obscene donation to the Duck Athletic Fund to even get a chance at season tickets ... and then the tickets will cost me $200-$1000+ each for the season. Ouch!
