How do I "print screen" with my laptop?? |
|
I pressed ctrl-alt-prnt scrn...and zippo.. The prnt scr shares the insert key.. Is there a trick that I need to know???
Since my desktop is "dead", I am trying desperately to learn how to use this laptop :)

"Print Scrn" actually takes a snapshot of your current view and places it on the "clipboard". You can then open "Paint" or any other photo editing program (or even Word, if you're so inclined) and do a "Ctrl + V" to paste it into the program. Then you can do a "File --> Print". If you do "Alt + Print Scrn" then it will only capture the active window instead of the entire screen.
