Is Arthur C. Clarke still alive?
I think he his--there seems to be no mention of his death, and Wikipedia says that he as a collection of works coming out 2000-04 (probably with stories like "My Positivist Orgy in James Randi's Rhinestone-Studded Hot Tub" or something like that).
Just some idle speculation.

4. I can confirm that.
Although I do not believe he is in good health. He could not make it to London for his knighting a few years ago.

3. Yep. He's in Sri Lanka -- he doesn't venture out much.
He's got post-polio syndrome (basically, childhood polio symptoms come back), so he's not quite as mobile as he used to be. (He's also well into his 80s.)

He does participate in the occasional online chat or television interview.

5. Look at Dead or Alive site for all that. They also have tests.
Sort of interesting if your into family history stuff.

6. He's been an advocate
for cold fusion, which he thinks has been dismissed prematurely, in recent years. Infinite Energy Magazine was started with funding from Clarke.
