I just found a picture of me that ran in the HARTFORD COURANT in June 2000

At the time, I belonged to a coalition that was trying to start a low-powered FM radio station in rural Northeastern Connecticut. A reporter from the Courant did a nice story on us, which included individual photographs of the coalition members.

When the photographer visited my apartment to take my picture, he came up with the idea of hiding my face. His way of thinking was that because I was a disc jockey, why not preserve the "mystique" by not letting the readers see what I looked like? I had no particular reason to say no. And besides, maybe the photographer was just too nice to say that I'm ugly! :evilgrin:

That was a cool idea to hide the DJ. Im always surprised when I see DJs, they never look like how I picture them.
