Just discovered the "Red House Painters"... |
...and I'm loving them. I just bought their CD "Old Ramon" which is a couple years old. Which of their other CDs do the "RHP" fans out there recommend?

2. I almost never pay attention to... |
...the names of band members but I have a RHPs CD right here. The lead singer's name is Anthony Koutsos. Oh, and thanks for the recommendation.

3. I am pretty sure that the Red House Painters singer is named: |
Mark Kozelek (sp?). Maybe he uses a psudonym on the record you have.
I tend to prefer earlier RHP,the stuff that came out on label 4AD in like 1994.

4. You're probably right. |
I was reading from the little CD booklet which has their names but no picture to match the names with. Anthony Koutsos's name was listed first so I assumed that he was the lead singer.

6. I saw them in a dive bar in Oakland |
In late 1990 before they left to find fame in England. The show was all noise and feedback and random sounds. I was pretty surprised when the records came out a couple years later.
