Things you think are cool that other people think are stupid. . .
I think tie-dye muscle shirts, musical films, really short man shorts, mullets, and high-top sneakers, and a number of Sting albums are cool. These are all things that I've heard other people call stupid at one time or another though. :P

How about you? Confess your "bad taste" here...

2. Fear Factor
Actually, I do think it's stupid. But I love it. I can't help it. I hardly ever get to watch it though. I'm either at work, or my husband wants to watch something on PBS at the same time, and I just can't come up with a good argument for watchng Fear Factor instead.

Speaking of cheese, I LOVE macaroni and cheese (it ain't just for kids!). I also love Barry Manilow. Also put me down for American Idol and Survivor. For some reason Toto gets a bad rap (the band, not the dog), but I love them too. Am I shallow and infested with terminal bad taste?

Not the powered skate boards, but real scooters like Vespas, Lambrettas, Bajaj, etc. I have three of them.

Of course now, with gas hitting $2.50 a gallon plus, a vehicle that gets 125 mpg + might look a lot less dorky to some folks.

51. British sci-fi...
Take your pic:

Dr Who
Blake's 7
Sapphire & Steel
Neverwhere (not the best, but it's inventive...)
Red Dwarf (arguably)
The Prisoner (arguably)

And it's not bad taste. Rick Berman's endless embarrassment of slopping down Trek is truly bad taste material. (even some episodes of TNG I once liked don't seem anywhere near as cool anymore, they're so bland and one-dimensional. They can't even moralize right either. TOS may be the worst in terms of scientific inaccuracy, but it sure did a vastly better job with the human condition. Some TNG eps still hold up, but I don't revere the series as being so great anymore. :-( "Insurrection" nearly had me back as that's a great movie, but "Nemesis" knocked it down 500000 points... Berman and co need to quit NOW. )
