Anyone else having trouble with connecting to DU board?

I'll be on for a few minutes and change forums or click on something and will get This Page Cannot Be Displayed as though there are server problems.

I have to keep logging on.

2. I'm having a terrible time. Everytime I click on a thread I get the

standard 'cannot connect to this whatever, try to adust my settings or hit refresh'.

But when I hit the post message button I started having the same damn problems you were just telling me about. I don't know but that was a little wierd, well to me atleast. :)

5. I've gotten a few such messages in the past half hour.

A couple of times when trying to read a posting, and once while trying to post. Seems to be okay now.

6. On dial-up, I'm getting...

... frequent "connection refused" messages. I suspect that the server is overloaded in the early morning hours with incoming messages while doing backups.

9. ...would that cause you to be knocked off even after you're on?

I am logged in and get disconnected when I change forums or click on something...so I'm getting knocked off.

12. That's fairly common around 4 AM Pacific

It's usually when I'm about to sign off DU, and get some sleep. Today I got several " busy or broken server" messages, and one completely swallowed post, when I tried to reply to the "what college did you attend?" thread. My lengthy critique of USC will have to wait until next time.
