The truth about global warming is scary enough. A laughable fantasy about it will just end up having a "boy crying wolf" effect, making a lot of people disregard the real environmental crises we face.

This movie really could end up doing more harm than good.

Seriously, I do get your point and it's a good one. I hadn't thought of it that way.

I don't think I can avoid seeing it, though. People always drag me to movies against my will. . . :-)
