DAMNIT!!!.........I missed church again!
now i'll feel guilty all day. whenever i miss church, i just feel miserable all week, then all month. come to think of it, i haven't been to church in over 35 years, except for the occasional election or family function.

no wonder i'm such a miserable asshole.

3. Go have a Krispy Kreme
and make believe it's the communion host. I know it makes me feel much better, and without that empty guilt feeling too.

4. Shame on you.
You are supposed to be in church on Sunday mornings! Everybody is! That way, I get the best parking space and there are no lines to do my shopping.

:spank:

5. Aha! I've been absent for 41 years!
...and I am a better man for it. Once away from the influence of those miserable Baptists I found love and compassion for my fellow man.

Fundamentalist "christians" are all about suffering: they want women who have unwanted pregnancies to suffer for their sin, they the poor to suffer for being lazy leeches on society, they wanted Blacks to suffer for being the outcast tribe of Israel, and they want those without health care to suffer because they can't afford it.

I love my Sunday mornings now.

8. Go out and take a walk
We Sufis say there is one holy book, the sacred manuscript of nature. So go outside and celebrate God in your own fashion.
