5. They were formed at UVA. There more of a "virginia band" than the foo

fighters, all of whom are from California and Washington state other than Dave Grohl, who formed the band in Seattle.

Dave Grohl is from Rockville Md...used to see him in pre-Nirvana days back in the old rock clubs in D.C., didn't know him but he had several start-up bands that played around the area...

4. Hmm I've seen several interviews where he said he was from NoVa

and one fairly recently that he had moved back there.

6. Well...

he was interviewed one day by a D.C. rock stations some years ago and he said that he was born in Rockville Maryland...maybe he moved to VA or something...really doesn't matter though...Foo Fighters rock anyway...I always did like them...
