8. The New Pearl Harbor...
Don't have it yet but it's recommeded by Howard Zinn.

Arianna's book is very good. It starts terrifically and then bogs down a bit but remains very substantive and covers all the high points over the last few years. I'm about half way through it now and to the part where she's describing Arnold's victory. That part is very depressing. She has a section at the end which is in effect a new contract on America for Kerry to use.

10. Guess Arianna stays on my list
Just got this email from Democrats.com

"Dear Activist,
Joe Trippi earned tremendous respect among Democratic activists for using the Internet to create a grassroots movement behind Gov. Howard Dean's campaign for President. Below is a letter from Joe Trippi about Arianna Huffington's important new book, "Fanatics & Fools." As always, if you do not want to receive e-mails from our selected partners, please click the unsubscribe link at the bottom.

Dear Friend,

I haven't been very present in the online progressive community as of late. We are busy putting the finishing touches on the framework and mission of our new organization (Change for America), but after I finished reading Arianna Huffington's new book, "Fanatics & Fools," I knew I had to send you all a message.

The Dean campaign wasn't just a campaign for the presidency - it was a movement to change America.

Hundreds of thousands of Americans stood against the special interests - and stood together for the values we believe in as progressives. We showed the Democratic Party how to stand and fight and gave hope that the American people could change the way politics is done in our country.

Now the pundits wonder if the movement we started can keep going forward. They wonder if the establishment will now just slide back into doing things the established way - and ignore the new politics of participation that we fought for.

But we're not going to let that happen. We're going to push forward by advancing a bold vision for change. Arianna Huffington does that in her new book, "Fanatics and Fools: The Game Plan for Winning Back America." I encourage you to read it: Fanatics & Fools"

Most likely Pearl Harbor will be included.

I'm going through the list to make sure I don't miss any.

Dealing with the wounds from a freak fan accident.

I don't want to get into the details (because they make me look stupid) but I got both my hands caught in a open fan. I haven't really been able to type since last week. I still have wounds all up and down my hands.
