Picture of my four year old twin boys

Four years ago last weekend, they were born in the garden center at our Target when a mama cat, feeling it was time, crawled through a hole in the fence one night.

The next morning when the manager opened the store, she found the mama and babies. She went inside and got the phone book to call the closest vet, but by the time she went back with a box to put them in, mama was gone.

So these two (along with a calico sister who didn't survive) came to my house that night because the vet who took them in was my daughter. She bottle-raised them and they've been here ever since.

So everyone please wish a Happy 4th Birthday to Jake and Mogli. :party:

4. Awwwww

I love black and white cats. Of course, I love all cats, but I have a soft spot for black and white ones. They're always sucb sweeties, it seems. Didn't those 4 years fly by?

9. They're almost perfect tuxedo cats and only slightly different.

Mogli's short-haired and his markings are perfect and symmetrical.

Jake is long-haired, his front socks don't quite match, and he has a "soul patch" on his chin, which you can't see in the picture.

5. They look so much like my boy

who was found by a student of mine. He (my kitty ) is 14 years old now and doing great, hard to believe he was a street cat. He's got the greatest presonality.

10. It's terrible to play favorites with twins. I know I'm going to hell

but Mogli is far and away the favorite and everyone knows it.
