6. Ah yes those were the days!

In the early '60s I rode my bike, hitch hiked or whatever to get to Lion's drag strip in Long Beach Ca. This was the "home" strip for Don, The Mongoose, Stone Woods & Cook, Big John & many others. Mickey Thompson rode around on his little scooter & treated us kids great...... Now one has to wait for the NHRA tour to come to your town if you want to see the "big boys".
