Which is why he died of natural causes.

27. I believe Lansky did always make money for his partners. |
|
The FBI had nice praise for him in a report on Lanksy. They said that of all the underworld bosses Lansky was the most brilliant and very easily could have been CEO of GM or some other large corporation. He just happened to prefer crime. Some people probably consider the CEO job to be crime as well anyway! (not me, I am an unapologetic capitalist). Lansky was very tight with Batista in Cuba and was well connected in general. In The Godfather II, the character Hyman Roth represented Lansky in a very obvious way.
Luciano was thought of as simply a thug w/o much intellect by the FBI.

Bezdomny is a character in Mikhail Bulgakov's "The Master and Margarita". He's a poet who meets Satan and has a nervous breakdown. Sort of how I felt living in the U.S. the past few years.
It's also Russian for "the Homeless One". I thought it was appropriate for an ex-pat.

35. Name of a character from a Firesign Theatre album.... |
|
called "In the Next World, You're on your Own." Random is a grizzled, drunken beat cop who is the star of the TV show "Police Street," and he looks like a "potato in a trick suit."
I chose it because I love the Firesign Theatre, and Koolzip gets to utter one of the greatest comebacks in the history of the English language:
"Tell it to the Xmas Bunny, kid."
If you don't know who the Firsign Theatre is, PLEASE direct your attention to laugh.com and order the Cd mentioned above or "Don't Crush that Dwarf, HAnd me the Pliers."
