Favorite stand-up comedian?
My pick: Lewis Black. Nobody does rage quite like Lewis.

Who's your favorite?

"So I accidently stuck my car key in my house door...and it started up. I took it for a drive and parked it on a highway exit ramp and told everyone to get the hell off my driveway....Heeeeheeeheee.

He is terrific with his monotone delivery. :)

16. Definitely Bill Hicks.
It's like he could see the future.

Runners-up include David Cross, Lewis Black, Steven Wright and Henry Rollins. Also, I keep hearing a guy named Todd Barry on XM who seems pretty funny.

25. I'm TOTALLY grooving on the late Bill Hicks these days...
...I've got a couple of his albums (I traditionally don't buy comedy albums), and I saw some just-okay TV documentary on him last week that at least made me want to learn more about him. I barely remember him from when he was alive. Sadly, I've come to appreciate him more since he died. I now think he's one of the greats, in the fine tradition of Lenny Bruce and a small handful of others.

26. Robin Williams.
I love many of the above but to me Robin Williams is in a class all by himself. During his last special that was broadcast on HBO I thought I broke a rib from laughing so hard.
