Good Morning DU!
It's Thursday - one more day closer to Friday! :donut: How is everyone this morning? Day two of my pilates/yoga thingy. Ouch. That's all I have to say about that.

9. It's ok
I got another one today around the sametime. It looks like I'll have to be re-motivated again! :) I have no choice but to hang in there, but it's hard. What I really want to do is to forget all about it and just go back to having fun everyday, I mean last night I turned down an offer to go to the river because of an interview. Hmm that would've been a good way to top off a great day if I did in fact do well. But I decided to play basketball before I went to sleep, I tripped over someone's shoe trying to go for a layup and landed on my left side of my body, not my neck. When I pushed myself up I felt a sharp pain in my neck, I only needed 2 more points to win and got it but I was hurting like hell. Anything going on for you today? :)

10. It's time to grow up.
Sure, having fun all day is great, but it's not going to get you anywhere. And you certainly don't need me to tell you that either. Welcome to being an adult. (well, as much of one as I am at 18 and you will soon be).

Not much. Working out, going to the pool, finishing up work here. That's about it. Good luck with your interview today!

I'm just saying it can be tempting at times but I'm not going to let myself go down that path, I have too much I want to do. That sounds like fun for you. Can I have some inspirational words to motivate me? I'd appreciate it. :)

*digging around in Inspiration dictionary*

Look, be real with yourself. You know you need a job, this could really get you places. Think of how accomplished of yourself you're going to feel. Think of how nice the money will be. And think about how you'll be able to say to your parents "Look at me, I'm really making it for myself." This is just one step in your journey in life. If it doesn't work on this job, then you're meant to have another.

Really, what happens after if I do get the job is really a motivating factor for me. The interview is basically me and this guy going over my resume, I think I may have some great answers to what he may question. Thanks to a friend, he was able to get a tie and shirt from his friend for me to borrow. I think it looks nice, maybe I should take pics? ;)

Ewww. No offense but your friends are crazy!

Go eat.

I walk and have just been doing this tape of pilates/yoga/aerobics mixed into one for two days. The tape is VERY challenging. It's about breathing properly, keeping balance, and keeping everything tight and pulled in. It's VERY challenging and my body wants to kill me for it.

36. None taken
Most of my friends are usually mature, laid back, type of people. Just some of my friends are crazy but I have to admit I do have fun with them even though I don't understand a single thing they do. You have no idea how many times I shook my head over something Brian done.

I'll probaly have to stop by and get some breakfest on my way there.

That sounds interesting, I haven't done stuff like that. I'm not completely into working out, I do lift, sit-ups, push-ups, running, sports, swimming and that's about it. Your body may want to kill you know but your body will thank you for it. I was going to do back and shoulders today but I'm not sure the way my neck is feeling, It hurts pretty bad. I hope it's not anything too serious, I haven't been (knock on wood) injured somewhat badly since 7th grade. I'm a pretty durable person.

I didn't feel anything until I took that fall. I took a pretty nasty one, I jumped up for a layup and got tripped up and went straight up then the entire left side of my body slammed onto the court. I'll probably recover from it but it hurts. I appreciate the concern.

16. I know! I'm sorry!!!
It's just been ridiculous lately. I was busy the entire weekend before last, then my parents came into town so I had to entertain them for like 5 days, then Caroline (my lady) was only going to be in town for 2 days because her mother's getting married this coming weekend, so I had to spend that time with her, and now I'm trying desperately to catch up with my friends who probably think I've abandoned them at this point (something I feel horrible about)! But yeah, I'm trying not to miss my girl too. She won't be back til Monday. :-(

But it's all good cuz my birthday is next wednesday, so we're all going to hit the town on Tuesday night. My friends will meet my girl for the first time (which is always an adventure... I think I'm less nervous about meeting parents than I am about meeting friends). Anyhow, my only plan for Saturday is to collapse in bed and watch lots of Lord of the Rings! (Yes, I'm a dork in my spare time.)

I wish I could give you a massage to make you feel better!! :-( If there IS anything I can do for you, let me know ok? :pals:

22. Massage what?!?
Holy crap, you HAVE been busy! How was the parents visit? Did you all have a good time? We have company this week too which kinda sucks because it's my roommate's family and I feel like the third wheel. I'm sooo happy for you though about the woman! That's really great! How far away does she live from you? Will you be able to see her often?

HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY! Hope that you have a really awesome time! And I definitely understand about the nervousness of meeting your friends! I think it's a lot more difficult because you're around these people a lot and though it may not matter in the end, friend's opinions are important. Man! Saturday sounds fun! Wanna trade? I'll collapse in your bed and you can work for me! :)

Thanks for the thought - a massage would be SOOOO nice. And I will let you know. And if YOU need anything, let ME know.

40. I dunno what
You just said you were sore. That's just how I am... when someone says they have a problem, I do what I can to help. Hey, I never said I was sane!!! :-)

Yeah, in a scary coincidence, she actually just moved into a new apartment, not 2 blocks away from mine. I'll probably be seeing her a lot, but she's got like 3 jobs, so I'll have time to myself too (which is very needed for me.) She really is a total sweetheart though, and I'm very happy to be dating her.

I really hope she likes my friends and vice versa, if for no other reason than the fact that it would make my life SOOOOO much easier. Rather than having to tell one person that I can't hang out because I have to spend time with the other, it'd be very nice to be able to get them all together at the same time, you know? I just hate the people that disapppear when they have a significant other, and them all liking each other would definitely be clutch.

Uhm... yeah... as much as I'd really LOVE to trade spots with you on Saturday...... <runs away> :-)

44. No, I meant like, HELL YEAH!
:) I haven't had a massage in a good month. :(

It's really good that you can see her often yet still have a break! She's a VERY lucky girl to have someone like you in her life. You're a really great guy with an even better personality and I'm sure you're not going to have a problem making her happy. Hope that everything works out for you!

And I definitely understand about the disappearing thing. I hate it when my friends ditch me for their SO (though I understand it's okay ocassionally, everytime I want to hang out is something completely different). You'll have to keep me updated on how it goes!

So what, you wouldn't want to trade? *pout* I don't smell!

Good to see you're sticking with it, and you aren't too sore that you'll keep going. An extra week of training before adventure weekend is good!
